Design resources

Designing steel reinforced concrete pipeline systems requires an understanding of two Australian Standards - AS/NZS 4058 "Precast concrete pipe" and AS/NZS 3725 "Design for installation of buried concrete pipe". It is recognised that these two documents should be used specifically for determining the loads on buried concrete pipe, designing the most appropriate embedment and installation type, and selecting the most appropriate class of concrete pipe required.
